Default Best Antivirus for XP

Hi guys...

Which AV software do you prefer for XP? I use kaspersky Internet security 09 edition. Tried Mcafee, Nod 32, Norton in the past. I KIS is the best AV avilable for XP.

I use AVG free version (antivirus and anti-spyware all on the same tool). I've tried all those that you mentioned but Kaspersky, and none of them really convinced me. I've heard wonders of Kaspersky, and i'm really interested to see it work, so probabily i'll try it when i get my new PC. But i have no complaints against AVG, effective and functional.

Well, it depends what type of user you are. For a home user, I prefer NOD32. AVG is also fine. (Kaspersky is one of the worst ones I believe. Not very good on zero-day attacks. Also kills performance of the machines)

It you are an IT admin and looking after more than 10 machines, then I would prefer more enterprise solution such as Sophos, Symantec or McAffee.

I am using NOD32 and I think it's the best anti-virus.
It dosn't uses too much space and memory and does what an anti-virus should do.
